We fly through the air, we fly to the earth,
Cool fluffy grey clouds and then come down,
What's on the ground?
Our nest we'll got to now...
Cotton Valley Kindergarten is deeply rooted to the values of a natural, holistic, child-centered learning environment.
The Kindergarten Curriculum is a comprehensive educational programme starting from playgroup (2 years) up to Kindergarten-3 ( 6 years of age).We believe in drawing from the best educational pedagogies rather than limiting ourselves to a single one. We stand on the shoulders of the educational giants that came years before. Our curriculum is designed and primarily shaped by the Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Steiner Waldorf philosophy, integrated thoughtfully with elements of Scandinavian Kindergarten philosophies, best practices around the world that are in connection with our traditional cultures, sustainable, green learning, and mainstream education that align with our values. We believe that schools should play an important role because children spend the majority of their time in them. The objective of this curriculum is to help our young students learn from nature and to encourage a greater understanding of the environment .
We have been very conscious of greening the curriculum by being open to nature as teacher, using the outdoors as a classroom, and sustaining life for all future generations as the most important learning objective in our curriculum.
Through the values inculcated in the curriculum, we prepare our students for their journey as happy learners for the rest of their lives while being friends of the environment.
