Cotton Valley Kindergarten is founded on the values of natural, holistic, and child-centred learning, where education unfolds gently in tune with the rhythms of childhood and nature.
Our Kindergarten Curriculum is a thoughtfully crafted, comprehensive programme that begins from Toddlers, Playgroup (age 2) and extends through Kindergarten-3 (age 6). We embrace a blended approach to education—drawing inspiration from the finest global pedagogies-Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, Montessori and sustainable green learning principles from the Scandinavian philosophies, and the wisdom of traditional cultures, all harmoniously interwoven with modern educational frameworks that align with our values.
We recognise that schools play a vital role in shaping children’s formative years, and we believe that nature is one of the most profound teachers. Our curriculum invites children to learn with nature and from nature—nurturing curiosity, environmental awareness, and a deep appreciation for the world around them. With an intentional focus on “greening” education, we extend learning beyond the classroom walls—turning the outdoors into a vibrant space for exploration and discovery. Sustainability, care for life, and respect for all living things form the heart of our learning objectives.
